The project is an existed furnished apartment in Shenzhen. The owner of this apartment is a young couple. They hoped to refurbish their home into a minimalist modern living space embraced by warm and elegant ambience. Accordingly, the design team decided to create a bright indoor space for them filled with love and charm. Nordic and Italian aesthetics is applied into the design, endowing the space with calm and gentle air, while also with some delightful rhythmic glamour. The concept of “less is more” is well adopted into this project from the slight renovation of wall colors, flooring, cabinets, and other details, to the elaborately selections of furniture, lighting, fabrics, and decorative artworks. Grey and white tone occupies the overall space, within which the wooden flooring renders a warm and cozy atmosphere. On the contrary, the space is also visually rich-layered by the simple calm colors with furniture made of special textures. It is also notable that luminaries in different forms reshape each room with fascinated rhythms.
